Anyone on the board Shadows Fall fans? New album comes out next week (The war Within) You can go to MTV.com of all places and listen to the whole album. Great stuff for a newer metal band.

Shadows Fall is great, and this album is no different. I've loved them ever since I first heard of them with their major label debut, "Of One Blood."

I just got into them this last year. Heard them on sirius radio and was hooked. The new Lamb of God kicks ass also.

I heard them talking on the digital cable metal station, and they were also showcasing all of there songs from the album. It sounds really good.
Revolver mag says this is one of the albums of the year.

I'm a huge metal fan, but I only like the bands where the singer actually sings (Savatage, Judas Priest, Iced Earth, Helloween, old Queensryche, Overkill) and not growl like the cookie monster with that death metal / hardcore type vocals... which is Shadows Fall?

A little bit of both. Not as much "cookie monster" growl as you call it on this cd. Give it a try you might like it.

I picked it up on tuesday.Great deal at $8. Some of the stuff isn't their strongest material, but the DVD more than makes up for it.
