The song is "Hair of the Dog" by Nazareth. Their other big hit was "Love Hurts."

Not sure I'd call them an AC/DC soundalike though.

Nazareth - "Hair of the Dog"

A truly horrible band.

Nazareth

As it happens, Nazareth have been around longer than AC/DC, although they've never been as popular.

The comment probably relates more to Dan McCafferty's vocal delivery than it does to the music produced by the rest of the band in spite of the Glasgow/Scotland connection.

And I thought this was going to be a question about Krokus!

Guns N Roses remade the song but changed the first "bitch" to "gun"

"now your messing with a, a son of a gun, now your messin with a son of a bitch"

I completely disagree with your assessment. However, if Hair of the Dog doesn't do it for ya, it is doubtful any of their other titles would either [Razamanaz, Expect No Mercy, etc...]. Horrible? Hardly.

Hmm, sounded like it to me from memory. It's been a while.

I agree. Nazareth was actually a decent band and kicked ass live.

The band that sounds a lot like Ac/Dc is Accept which only had 1 jit called "Balls to the Walls". The lead singer is Udo.
They were an 80's metal band.
