Star Wars "Extra" on A&E?
Last night, A&E was airing a Ken Burns doccumentary on Star Wars called "Stars Wars: Empire of Dreams". It was two hours long and actually quite well done. Is this the same as what is included on the new set?

The version on A&E was edited down to a 2 hour length with commercials. The version in the DVD set is 151 minutes (no commercials, obviously).

It was great! Can't wait to see the full 151-minute version. Are you sure it was done by Ken Burns??
However, this has been discussed in the DVD Information thread, and there's also an entire thread devoted to it in TV Talk.

Yea, I replayTv'ed it last night (they aired it 4 times in a row...) and watched it the first time and was pretty surprised by it. Pretty good quality on the documentory side and overall was a nice surprise to see. Will be waiting on the full thing in the next 2 weeks....

What is this "Star Wars" of which you speak? Is it a new movie or something?
Caught a few minutes and it was very interesting. I'm so far behind in my movie watching it will be quite awhile before I watch a 2.5 hour documentary.

It was quite good. I won't mind watching it over again (with all the extra footage) when the box set comes out.
