Meet the Parents Re-Release - 12/14/04

I knew Universal would double dip on this title when the sequel came out so I never bothered buying the first release.

http://www.dvdanswers.com/index.php?...4766&n=1&burl=

Universal has set a release date for a new special edition of Meet the Parents which is being released to coincide with the arrival of Meet the Fockers at cinemas. The full details have yet to be released, but we can tell you that the disc will be available to own from the 14th December and priced at around $29.98. Further details will follow shortly. Available from the same day will be a Ben Stiller Collection. This will retail at around $59.98, and will include Along Came Polly, Mystery Men, Reality Bites and the special edition of Meet the Parents.

Thanks for the info, but I don't think I'm ready to double-dip on this one, yet.

I do not see what they could add to warrant a double dip.

hate it when the studios re-release.

after that there'll be a 5th anniv, 10anniv, and 25th anniv
re-re-re-release.

I wish there would be a sequel to The Jerk so we'd get a good DVD of that, this is just stupid

There was a made-for-TV sequel in 1984
