So, I chose Mike Anderson in a very late round for my Fantasy team on Friday and now he's done. I need someone to take his spot.
What are some good players, either RB or WR, who can fill his shoes? I know you don't know who's available, but I'm looking for options. Just consider that the draft is over so it would be a later round, possibly sleeper, pick.

Who is on the waiver wire? How many teams in the league? Whats your roster right now?

Jeff Wilkins and Morten Anderson
Phily and Minnesota Defenses

What a dumbass coach Shanahan is. Playing a starter in the last minutes of a game on special teams. And then he gets hurt.

Based on projections, here's the best WR left:
Drew Bennett (Tenn)
Muhshin Muhammad
Johny Morton
Kevin Dyson
Travis Taylor
Galloway
M. Robinson
Bradford
Boldin
RBs:
Richie Anderson
M. Shipp
Shawn Bryson
William Green
Mike Cloud
Zack Crockett
LaMont Jordan
There are many many more however.

Last year we lost Pennington and Stewart before the season. This isnt' so bad.

well I think M. Shipp and A. Boldin are still hurt so I wouldn't choose them.

Oh man. Reminds me of my first fantasy draft ever - 1992. Someone picked Chip Lohmiller (the year after he outscored the entire Colts team) in the 2nd round.

if im not mistaken...Galloway is a #1 receiver now because of injuries...thats who i picked up.

Looks like Galloway starts opposite Tim Brown. Mmmmm. Might be a good one.
Anyone else? I have to choose by Wednesday night, that's when the waiver wire opens.

Technically, it is because Keenan McCardell is holding out.

Thought I'd ask in case he was in a league of people who didn't realize who Tennessee's starting RB is this year. Unlikely I know, but stranger things have happened.
How about Najeh Davenport? He won't start but he should see some carries.

I'm a Packers fan so I like Najeh....especially since we have Green. But I never see myself starting him unless Green gets hurt.
Am I expecting too much at this point to get a guy who I might actually put in my starting lineup during a bi week of my key guys?

Given that this is a post-draft pickup, you shouldn't necessarily be finding someone you would start. If you are in a position where you need to start whoever you pick up, that is not a good sign.
BTW, do you have an IR in your league? If so, picking up Boldin and stashing him on your IR may not be a bad move.

Quentin Griffin was gonna be the starter. Mike Anderson was the fullback who got goal line carries. He was gonna be garbage anyway.
Green & Thomas Jones are both better than Anderson. Bennett is out for 4 weeks but having Green & TJ is good enough until he comes back. Those RBs all suck. You could take William Green hopin' that Cleveland does some type of committee approach with Suggs or that Suggs sucks. Lamont Jordan is Curtis Martin's backup but might get goal line carries. Crockett could get goal line carries for the Raiders.
I'd probably pick up Galloway or Muhammad.

Anderson was moved back to HB from FB in the offseason and Droughns was given the starters spot at FB.

Probably not until November. His real use would be for your playoffs. Again, you should not do it unless you have an IR to stash him on (and thus can pick someone else up to replace him on your active roster).

However, we were hoping he'd get traded to Miami or possibly eventually take over the top spot. He's been kicking as this preseason.
Right now, I'm leaning toward Boldin for IR, then picking up Galoway. Maybe Muhammad.

I feel pretty confident in our team as is, but I want to pick up one more guy who MIGHT be good.

What about Chester Taylor with the Ravens? Lewis could miss some games.
Or maybe Ferguson with the Packes?

I might be more inclined to go Musa Smith over Chester Taylor.

Musa is 3rd on the depth chart.

Or what about David Terrell with the Bears?

Just did more research...Nate Burleson from Minnesota is available. Anyone see a reason not to try to get him?

I think you can do better than that.
Galloway, Kevin Johnson, Bryant Johnson, David Givens. Take any of these guys before Burleson.

I read that Burlson had moved into the #2 spot.
Hahaha. I'm terrible at picking up scrubs. I get all analytical, but in reality, he'll never been in my lineup anyway.

Yeah Robinson is hurt or something, which is going to keep him out of the #2 spot for a while. The Vikings will probably also throw a lot to Kelly Campbell, which may not make Burleson a great fantasy pick up.
