Not suprising at all. Rooney and Ronaldo up front will be a formitable pair.

OT Man U note, I noticed that Jonathan Spector got his first start over the weekend which brings the total of US born starters on Man U to two

Since when does CRonaldo play up front? He's more of an overrated winger... (while I think that Shrek and Horseface... er... Rooney and RVN will be a good pairing)

As much as I hate Everton... they're probably better off for this (since I'm not sure Rooney's worth 25M, and they can buy some players with that). Still, it does mean that ManU are still the Yankees of the EPL

There's probably a better class of prostitute in Manchester for Wayne as well.

And so it has happened. Should make for an interesting watch for Manchester

We have been sold down the river - United must be rubbing their hands. It is disgusting. We have just let go of the best player in the world

I don't know what they're smoking on Merseyside but it's good stuff, he's not even the best player in the Premiership let alone the world.

They are smoking the same stuff that any die-hard fan of any sports team in the world smokes. :)

This is why the EPL is so frustrating for me. It's no different than MLB here - ManU, Chelsea and Arsenal can just afford to play by different rules.

I really, really wanted to see Rooney-Shearer. Damnit.

He's not even the best player on Merseyside. :) (that honor would go to the man wearing the #8 shirt for Liverpool)
