Confirmed in a post by some guy who writes for gamestm apparently:

Just want to clarify on the bonus track stuff with extra detail, in case anyone's desperate...

Bonus Track 1 - Daytona USA 2
Stage 1: Intermediate stage (Fun park)
Stage 2: Expert stage (City)
Stage 3: Beginner stage (Speeway Oval)

Bonus Track 2 - SCUD Race
Stage 1: Beginner stage Day (Bayside)
Stage 2: Beginner stage Night (Airport)
Stage 3: Intermediate stage (Asian culture - mountains, statues and the like)
Stage 4: Expert stage (European culture - castles and lakes)

Obviously, the courses run into one another with checkpoints dividing them, rather than being separate. I know that's obvious but... well, wanted to point it out. Sorry.

I will go apeshit if this is true!! I've waited what seems like an eternity to play these at home!!! OMG my house will be flooded with cum!!!!!!

Games are games, yes. But at 31, there's enough serious shit going on in my life so if it's OK with you, I like to unwind and get a bit silly and a little giddy sometimes, given that this is a forum about videogames. And especially given the fact that Daytona USA 2 and Sega Super GT are two of my favorite arcade racing games of all time.

To finally have tracks from those two games integrated into another game based on a classic franchise(OutRun) is nothing short of astounding. And is a Godsend to us Sega arcade racing veterans who have plunked down many a quarter into thier games since the days of Virtua Racing. So excuse me if I appear a little overexcited...since in my opinion, this is going to be THE racing game to get for Xbox this fall. Burnout 3 be damned.

Anyway - I played Outrun 2 and it was boring. I had more fun with the Outrun arcade in Shenmue.

Graphics look pretty I suppose, but I find it hard to believe that Outrun 2 will be better then Burnout 3, which looks and plays amazing IMHO, at least from what I can tell in the demo. Outrun was a very shallow racing game, and I don't think adding some retro tracks from other games will make up for that.

I can't imagine you'd be biased though as you hardly appear excited.

C'mon, guys - leave isamu alone. :) His posts were obviously meant to be tongue-in-cheek, and I personally found them hilarious. Best laugh I've had in a while. Okay, he shouldn't have put the f-bomb in there, but he didn't know and he already took it out, so what's the harm? :)

Anyway, I'm surprised at all of the negative posts here about Outrun 2. I can't wait to play it. The new tracks sound cool to me (though I must confess that I've never played either of the games they come from). Yeah, Burnout 3 will kick ass too - what's your point? ;)
