Blue Crush and True Crime: Streets of LA (videogame).

A Oakenfold remix of Lapdance was on Swordfish.

the bigger question is how many movies/commercials has

"Magic Carpet Ride" by Steppenwolf

I'd say at least a dozen every year.

Since 2 other posters mentioned "Lapdance", I'll throw in a 3rd film it's been in: The Real Cancun

And if you want to talk about often used songs, "Carmena Burana" by Orff comes to mind immediately.

Remember the SNL sketch where all the trailers before the movie starred Shellie Long and featured "I Feel Good" by James Brown?

"Walking on Sunshine", at least as far as trailers go, has to be pretty high up there.

Fixed.

But, Blur's "Song #2" would fit the bill also.

I still think the most-used track is "Stayin' Alive." IMDB searches turn up around 25 examples, and it's not complete because Foul Play isn't one of the results.
