DOG, The Bounty Hunter....
This premieres tomorrow night. Anyone going to watch? I enjoyed that special they had on A&E about bounty hunters, so this should be interesting.

I've seen him on a few things over the years. Pretty interesting dude. I find it interesting as well that he can't carry weapons because of the previous charges against him, and has to go after the worst of the worst with pepper spray. I might check it out.

The dude needs to ditch the mullet and the leather gear. He looks like the epitome of a yokel.

Pretty much a continuation of his previous special. I think it's pretty funny the dynamic of he and his wife. I'll continue to watch, despite being mindless entertainment.

They interviewed him on the Today show (or maybe it was the morning show) yesterday and they showed some of the footage. Looks interesting enough to check out at least one episode.

It is now canceled.
Maybe you can blame him or give him credit since A&E started doing more reality shows once he came on the air.
I remember back in the early days biography was still on A&E before Dog went on the air.

Duane "Dog" Chapman's popular A&E crime-hunting series Dog the Bounty Hunter has been axed by the network, Variety confirms.
Having just wrapped its eighth season, the series followed fugitive recovery agent Chapman, 59, his wife, Beth, and Chapman's adult children, Leland, Duane Lee and Lyssa, as they tracked down criminals in Colorado and Hawaii.
TMZ -- which first broke the story -- cited "creative differences" as the reason Chapman and the network parted ways amid season 9 negotiations.
Premiering in 2004, Dog the Bounty Hunter was a spinoff based on Chapman's 2003 appearance on A&E's Take This Job, which chronicled the lives of people with unique occupations.
Dog the Bounty Hunter's final episodes are expected to begin airing in June.

I watched it recently and it appeared he ran off his two sons, who now have their own bail bond companies. Add to that the daughter working on the show being in serious trouble with the law and the questionable behavior of his "brother" and I'm not shocked A&E is dumping it.
Creative differences sounds like the pair have become as unbearable to work with as the sons have hinted at.

I watched 1 season years ago and the occasional episode since. Not so much the last couple of years. I hadn't even noticed that his "brother" was no longer with him. I liked the shows where he visited CO better than the HI shows.

His show on CMT premiered last month and Leland was supposedly pissed at the Dog and Dog was crying after losing a capture since Leland was not there.
Leland then comes back near the end of the episode and they catch the guy.
I wonder if all that drama was scripted lol?
