Great Adaptations Criterion Box Set: Worth the price of admission?

(Great Expectations / Lord of the Flies / The Most Dangerous Game / Oliver Twist)

I don't own any of those included titles and it seems like quite a good bargain. The Kurosawa and Hitchcock collections were terriffic sets What do you guys think?

MGM is supposed to release their own versions of GE and OT, which has more than a few DVD fans wondering whether MGM's discs will trump their Criterion counterparts in A/V quality (the Criterion discs do not boast any extras, and MGM is not likely to include any on their pressing).

If you want to see these flicks and your local library doesn't have them, this set will be the cheapest way to get all four.
