Do you want a name? It came down to 2 guys pleading their case to Peter Fonda. It was kinda dumb. It was basically one guy saying that movies are his entire life and he even got a job working with movies (I don't remember what he does). The other guy said he has to work extra hard to make his life all about movies because his job has nothing to do with movies. The guy with the movie-related job won.
I wonder if Fonda watched the rest of the episode or if he just went on that discussion.
I'm surprised there wasn't more discussion about this show. I really liked it, except the "celebrities" sucked. They advertised they're doing a second season.

I think his name was Michael, he was chubby with glasses and a beard.

I would have destroyed every contestant I've seen on this show so far - except for the part where they have to bring in some sort of memorabilia - I got nothing on them there.

I had missed the first round and just saw it. I can't believe how badly they did. The one they did the best on is the one I completely blanked on, the Gene Hackman one. I like how the last guy to go out said, we've done Cameron Crowe (they only listed 2 Crowe movies) and then he quietly lists a couple James movies, including the Abyss, which hadn't been mentioned. I know it's harder when you're actually there, but how can a film geek not know every James Cameron and Cameron Crowe movie? The other 2 guys that left said a movie that had already been mentioned. That's understandable, but both times they hadn't really listed that many movies yet.

Nope. He's out of Rochester Hills (fairly close to Detroit). Here's a thread mentioning Felsher's appearance on the show and his association with Anchor Bay (by Synapse Films' Don May Jr., no less).

Thanks to TiVo, I was able to skip all the boring parts (I'm the ultimate film fanatic because...) and just watched the meat of the show. So I didn't really know his name or what he did.
It wasn't a great show, but with the TiVo it only took about 10 minutes to watch. So I'd watch it again.
