Jason is having a bit of a problem today right now...haven't heard anything but is he hurt or have a dead arm? He does not look like he has any pop out there.

Thumbs up for Braves staff pitching to Bonds....not every coaching staff are a bunch of wimps. But I l always loved Leo Mazzone anyway.

I am loving this braves/giants game.
Schmidt did seem to be suffering up there, but it's still pretty cool that Byrd has had a 2 hit/2 rbi day.

Hey a hit is as good as a walk ... I though maybe it was the back swing and the ball popped out of the catchers mitt.

Wow... Luckily I had Shit.... errrr... Schmidt accidentally on the bench today. -eek-

Though the 8 K in 3.2 innings  would have been nice, the 3.27 WHIP and 14.73 ERA would have sucked...

Now I just need Clemens to get knocked around later* and I might be a happy camper!

* - Sorry Dawg. I can't control who my opponents have in the lineup. The 'Stros can get the W 9-8 if you'd like, as long as Zambrano pitches better than Roger. Heck, get Lidge the W! ;)

god, Bonds sucks. When two runs can score on a basic single, it's time to go to the AL and become the DH. -ohbfrank-

Hey, I'd welcome Bonds as a Mascot. I mean, I throw stuff at our current one, why not continue the trend! :p

I thought you'd have started a tag thread by now - something you might be capable of participating in.

I was 99.99 percent sure that he was being sarcastic but I took the .01 percent chance that he was being serious.

Well, the Cubs tried to make a game of it losing 7-6 when they were down 7-2 but Giants lost so still leaders in the wild card for now.

Woooohooo!!! Tony Clark with 3 longballs. Ruben Sierra with a GS. and Sheffield with 2 doubles in the same inning.

Shame on you. Don't you know that there's only Yankee bashing in these threads?and Sheffield with 2 doubles in the same inning.Until Sheffield slid his foot into third.

They should keep Clark on first. Or make him DH.

Pedro is looking fairly strong against the Tigers as the Red Sox utility players put up a couple of runs.

2-1 Red Sox in the middle of the sixth.

The Dodgers have slowly been grooming Yency for the set-up man role ever since Mota was traded. Homeboy is doing a pretty good job. He's got a ERA of 0.69. Brazoban looks to be better than Mota if he can keep his head straight. Thank you Yankees.

Belte went 5-for-5 and Gagne finally picked up another save.

Red Sox have been on a tear as of late. Hopefully they'll keep it going against the Angels next week.

Except for Millar, who as of today's 0-fer is 3 for his last 30. (.100)
