I'm having problems w/ the Toshiba SD-4900 multi region hack

Hello,

I've seen the various hack methods here:
http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks.ph...Toshiba+SD4900

I've also tried both methods mentioned here:
http://www.math.uga.edu/~djb/html/dvd.html

When I insert the CD-R into the DVD player, on the TV screen I am given the option of choosing either JPEG or MP3. This occurs with both methods. If I click on either option I am told there are no files listed. No one else seems to be having this problem. My DVD player is refurbished, so I'm unsure if that is possibily contributing to the problem.

From:
http://www.math.uga.edu/~djb/html/dvd.html
"Use a CD burning program to create a CD from this disc image.
Don't just make a data CD with these two files on it!"

I'm unclear on what is meant by this. Perhaps I'm just creating a data CD with two files on it?

As some of you may have noticed, this is my first post. So if what I'm asking is too technical for this forum, could someone please refer me to another message board?

Thanks!

To create a disc image, you need to specify so in your burning software. If I were you, I'd just download Fireburner at http://www.fireburner.com/index.php?...ed3215cfa2b41e and use it. Once you have it installed, double-click the .cue file you have and it should open right up. Burn to your CD from there.

It worked! Thanks!!!

Funny thing is, it was already set at region 0 although the box clearly states it is a region 1 DVD player. I've read where this has happened to others as well.
