Was there another female olympic swimmer that came out of Irvine for the [I think it was] '96 Olympics? I remember when I spent a week in Irvine the summer of '96 (possibly '92, but definitely in the 90s) with some cousins, there were signs at the local Ralph's saying congratulations and stuff like that to the local olympic swimming girl. I just can't remember if it was Beard or not.

Well I believe her first Olympics were the '96 games, so it was probably her. A friend of mine knew her, and said she did seem a little snobby, but still a nice person.

And regardless, people have different tastes. I don't find her attractive. She does have pretty eyes though.
