What was the first CD you ever got?

Dunno if there's been a post like this here, but.... what was the first CD you ever got?

For me, I'm almost ashamed to admit it now, but it was Winger's 1st (and only?) album, back in like '87 I didn't even have a CD player yet, but I knew I was getting one for xmas

IUt was probably around 1991-92, I only had tapes before then.

I got 8 from columbia house. Can't remember them all, but among them were Pearl Jam- Ten, RHCP- Blood Sugar Sex Magic, and REM- Automatic for the People.

...And Justice For All
I had it for several months before I even had a cd player to play it in.
What happened was my Aunt thought my parents were getting me a cd player for christmas so she bought me Justice as a present. Needless to say, when I opened it on Christmas Eve I went from ecstatic to depressed within about 30 seconds (parents told me I wasn't getting a cd player ).

No reason to be ashamed that is a pretty good cd, there best work by far tho is "Pull" released in 93.

But back to your question, i believe mine was "just say ozzy" by of coarse ozzy osbourne, and i believe i bought milli vanilli on the same shopping trip that day at a used record store, so either one of those.

A set of Mozart String Quartets.

The first 'pop' CD I bought was Disintegration by The Cure.

I got a CD played for my 16th B-Day. We went straight to the Warehouse and I think I got Richard Marx Rush Street.

Echo and the Bunnymen's self-titled CD. It was probably around 1987 or so.

The same thing happened to me in high school only it was a dvd player. We had Scream sitting there for two months! it was depressing.

My first CD was Ace of Base...and i'm not ashamed!
