Without A Paddle = Adult Goonies

Two words: Chester Copperpot

Hey all,

I really liked this moving picture show. It was funny as hell, and most of it was intelligent humor.....which was cool too...

Now to what I wanted to get at.... Several times during the movie i made comparisons to scenes in the goonies (and stand by me, for that matter). But the whole "kids" on an adventure, following landmarks, and finding treasure with their dead "idol" next to it made me think that way (comparing to the Goonies, that is).....

Anyone else connect these dots as well? Now, whether or not it's intentional or not doesn't matter, i just find this interesting....and fun!

Just my 9 cents,

Matt

I haven't seen it, but it looks like a spoof on "Deliverance" from the ads.

Interesting. From the trailer I found a lot of similarities between the movie and the diarrhea I had the other night from undercooked turkey.

You have a lot of nerve comparing any movie to The Goonies, let alone this one.

LOTR trilogy has more in common to the Goonies than this...travesty.
