CANDYMAN vs. DVD Aficionado--Say What???

Does anyone have any perspective on why both the original movie-only and new Special Edition DVDs of CANDYMAN are listed on DVD Aficionado as "Edited"??? The runtime on both is 99 minutes (in point of fact, they offer identical transfers) which, according to imdb, is the proper and full runtime. The Internet Movie Database mentions that several minutes had been cut in the past for the British release, but they were subsequently restored to bring the runtime up to what we have on the R1 DVD, so has DVD Aficionado flipped its wig, or does it know something imdb doesn't?

According to DVDAF:

..."Missing a disembowelment seen during the original theatrical run"...

now that sucks if it's indeed the case. although I'm a huge Barker fan and serious horror-film freak....I've always tried to like this flick, but no go. for me...I doubt the m.i.a. gutting would help improve it for me.

Kundun, thanks...I'll be damned--wonder why imdb doesn't make a reference to it...I know imdb isn't perfect, but it seems that, if DVD Aficionado knows about this, imdb certainly would...
