Farscape DVD comes with english subtitles?

I am thinking of getting the farscape seaon 1 & 2 dvds. Anyone knows whether does it comes with english sub-titles?

There are no subtitles, but it does contain CC - closed captions which are tv generated subtitles. I haven't watched season 1 in a while but I think some of the episedes omitted the CC in some of the episodes.

A lot of the Farscape dvd's don't have subtitles or closed captioning. I tried loaning this to my stepdad who is a little hard of hearing, and he was unable to follow it. Pretty sad that they didn't bother to make this more accessible when they did so much else right in designing the dvds.

I guess I have no choice but to give this series a miss, as I need the english subtitles in order to follow the dialogue. Quite sad as I heard that this is a good series.
