Subtle.

Actually, I have a friend who is helping to write the score for this, so I'm hoping I can sneak a peek at some point.

Eh, I just don't see her as Elektra for some reason. Still watch it when the lot has a screening though. can't be worse then daredevil.

Yeah what you said to a tee. On the bright side, Rob Bowman can't be nearly as bad a director as Mark whatever his name was from Daredevil. Garner has the looks, but I'll be honest I just never really bought her as someone who's tough...not in this at least. Never seen Alias, though she must be better in that.

Garner looked like she was fighting with a maxi pad on during that first fight with Affleck. I'll pass.

Same here, would it have killed them to at least die her hair black.

I think Garner is insanely hot, & Terrence Stamp is a film god to me. Still the best comic book movie villain EVER IMO so I'll definitely see this. Hope the fights are a lot better than the fights in Daredevil though.

Well, at least they have a decent director for this one...Rob Bowman isn't the hack that some of these other comic book movies have had directing their films.

I don't get it. She died in Daredevil, and she didn't decide to become Elektra until her Dad was killed, so is this supposed to take place in that short period of time?

i like her first line reading in that clip-
a lot.
but i agree that not giving her hair black seems a bit cheesy.

i'll be looking forward to checking it out in Jan.

I'd imagine this wouldn't have much of anything to do with any comic book. I guess if you expect a good story with something like this you're just fooling yourself anyway.

In the spot she says she already died once.

But they're bringing characters from the comics, unlike Catwoman.

Stick, the Hand, and I'd like to see Shaft, Stone and Claw.

It actually looks like a fun movie to me but I'm also not familiar with the comic.

Just watched it! I'm excited about it!!! Lets just hope this movie does better than Catwomen....which isn't asking much.

Also on the rumor mill.....DareDevil (Ben) might have a cameo! I'm still hoping for a DD2 after this.

oops not camero

I guess I never understood why people get hung up over details like this. I mean, who really cares what color her hair is. They make changes all the time in adapting movies from all sorts of sources. What makes comics so much different?

I like what I see. Bowman did a good grim, dark look with Reign Of Fire and X Files - and even made Matthew McConalaugheleghely seem menacing! I would say he's just about perfect for this kind of movie...
