We have Exorcist the beginning, a prequel to one of the best horror films of all time

What other films would you like to see a prequel made for ?

I always though a prequel to Blues Brothers would be really neat. And I've actually thought about how I'd do it. But it'd be difficult to find the right actors and even musicians. Plus the franchise might be a little sour after BB2000.

Encino Man - I'd like to know how Brendan Fraser "Link" lived in his time and more about how he ended up getting frozen.

Indeed! It would be cool to see them in their prime when the Bride was still part of the gang.

For some reason, a prequel to "Near Dark" (if done correctly) would be nice. I remember this line from Lance Henriksen regarding the civil war: "I fought for the south... We lost."

They could show how those characters got to become vampires and introduce new ones.

Your wish is gonna be granted. I read in wizard magazine that Quentin Tarentino is working on a prequal to Kill Bill in anime form which has the history of Bill and Beatrix.

I want to see A prequal To A Nightmare on Elm ST!

SO we can see what Freddy was like before he died. Infact it has a chance of happening because many scripts of it have been made and sent in, they are in limbo though.

It's called

There has been talk about a prequel to The Godfather for years...one in which Leonardo DiCaprio would play a young Don Corelone, and flash forward to scenes with Andy Garcia as the new "Godfather" (much like Part II was). Will probably never happen, though.

Well as far as I know, Mario Puzo never wrote a prequel to the Godfather.

shut up. for someone who is still beyond green to the forum and to the entertainment industry your comment failed to see that the fellow was trying to make a joke. Usually with jokes you laugh. Incase you were green to the whole knowledge on what to do with jokes.

Yes, a joke that it was coming out as a prequal.

But..I should've controlled my anger. It just pisses me off when people think That Batman begins is gonna be a prequal. When It's a restart.

From what I've seen of the "Batman begins" trailer it sorta looks like a prequel. What's a "restart" anyway?

notice he had a face on his comment. We call those things on the internet Emoticons. They express what we are feeling or how we want the comment we just stated to sound. Since reading something on the internet is a lot different then hearing it. You can't read the mood someone is writing in. Thus his indicates that he was joking.

The power of the internet I tell you.

What's a "restart" anyway
restart is just that.. taking the franchise and starting all over again. the same thing wants to be done with superman film so it's a telling of the franchise again. But yeah, the teaser does seem like a prequel though it could very well be a restart since the original connected to many things.

Why would something like this make you so angry that you have to call someone a bitch? Dude, get control of your emotions and don't let other people have such a impact in your life.

Let the power of Christ compell you.

I'd like to see:
USS Indianapolis: The Story of Quint - Jaws prequel
The Vega Bros. - Pulp Fiction/Reservoir Dogs prequel
The Diary of Will Munney - Unforgiven prequel
Chronicles of a Cleaner - Leon prequel
Cold: The Rise of Neil McCauley - Heat prequel

Just to name a few...
