my 2 top wish-list picks of all time...and STILL waiting for:
The Other..from '72
They All Laughed...also with John Ritter.
...and as usual...never even a hint that they may get here soon. my third choice arrived last week, The Bad Seed. there are over 75 essentials I'm still waiting for.

I second THE OTHER and NAKED PREY.
Would also like THE INNOCENTS from Fox,
and BURN WITH BURN from MGM as a Midnight Movie DVD.
and BILLY BUDD from whomever currently owns the rights.
and SOLDIER BLUE in its uncut, widescreen version (rights?).
and FRIENDS OF EDDIE COYLE from Paramount.
There are more, but the list is narrowing in a huge way, and I thank all studios who release DVD's for that simple fact.

Definately Ishtar - this deserves Special Edition treatment, I can watch that movie over and over again. I'll also second Howard the Duck not a great movie but a great try...

Absolutely, "The Other"! I'm a little tired of my VideoCD that I created from when AMC aired the film a while ago. Here's a few:
Blood on Satan's Claw
Day of the Triffids
Flesh Eaters
Lady in a Cage
Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte
Cabinet of Caligari (NOT to be confused with "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari)
Bad Ronald
Crowhaven Farm
The Day Michael Came Home
Short Walk to Daylight

Inside Daisy Clover
i'd like to see that too, but my most wanted Natalie Wood movie would be Love With The Proper Stranger ('60s Paramount)
been asking for it for 2 years now...maybe in 2005
most of the big 70s films i'm jonesing for are of the low budget/ exploitation variety, but there are still some A list titles that are curiously absent
Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry (Fox)
Let's Scare Jessica to Death (Paramount)
Love At First Bite (MGM)
Wanda Nevada (MGM)
StarCrash (New Concorde-Corman just put the catalog up for sale though, and the R2 disc is sadly of poor quality. was shocked to see my 2nd generation dupe of a pan and scan tape revealed finer detail and came from a much better print)
GoldenGirl (Columbia) ( a cinch i won't be seeing this one anytime soon since Columbia missed the opportunity to tie it in with the summer Olympics- suprisingly topical now too, with all the athletes testing positive for drugs and performance enhancers)
The Driver (Fox)
Butch & Sundance: The Early Days (Fox)
i would also love to see Outland get a true 16:9 remaster
not essential, but titles i still would buy-
Julia (Fox?)
An Unmarried Woman (Fox)
Thank God it's Friday (Columbia)
Almost Summer (Universal)
Corvette Summer (?)

Contract on Cherry street (TV movie w/ Frank Sinatra)
The Formula (Brando)
Hennessey (Steiger)

The Dorm That Dripped Blood is currently available under the title Pranks - I own but haven't watched it.
I'd also like to see Night of The Comet, Night of the creeps, Killer Party, Electric Dreams and especially Scenes From the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills (did Paul Bartel ever record a commentary for this before his death, perhaps for the LD release?).
Another few I don't think have been mentioned:
Massacre at Central High with Andrew Stevens and Rainbeaux Smith.
Looker with Albert Finney and Susan Dey.
The Seduction with Morgain Fairchield.
Death Spa & Killer Workout
Blood Beach
Visiting Hours with William Shatner
Mausoleum
Scarecrows - I picked up the unrated VHS version of this 1987(?) horror flick for $1.99 at Movie Gallery - I was really impressed with how well done it was.
Too many more to list...
