Or how about the other Fox show Fastlane. I actually liked that show and I think it lasted a whole season.

Sigh. A show that died well before its time. Skin gets pulled after 2 eps while the crapfest that is North Shore gets a full season order. -ohbfrank-

I wouldn't hold your breath for a DVD. I think 6 eps were produced.

Anymore, who can tell what shows will end up seeing a DVD release. My Big Fat Greek Life, anyone? There are many shows on DVD that I'm sure people weren't exactly clamoring for. So, who knows? If one of the lead actors hits it big, we'll probably see a release.

Right. It's not as if people were demanding a DVD release of the "Significant Others" TV show. But they were able to plaster Jennifer Garner's photo on the front, so it's out.

It was an amazing show, and I was both surprised and sad to see it go. It got a hell of a lot of advertising, which makes me wonder why it didn't go anywhere. Oh well.

I remember reading an interview with Bruckheimer after it was canceled, in which he expressed his disappointment at it's early death. He said at the time that they were considering releasing all the episodes they filmed on DVD in some sort of unedited format. Apparently some people felt the problem with the show was that it was too boring and not titillating enough for a series about the porn industry, and I guess some of the more risque footage had to be cut for broadcast.

I look at it this way: if it hadn't been killed so early, it would have probably been heavily scrutinized post-Janet Jackson NippleBowl anyway.

Bruckheimer doesn't seem to attach his name to too many failures, television-wise, so I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to put "Skin" out just to polish up the one blight on his track record.

Didn't anyone feel the Romero and Juliet storyline has been played to death and wasn't played well in this series? And the whole "industry" thing just looked so fake to me I mean they couldn't even get hot girls to play "employees" of the adult film tycoon.Anyway a dvd release of this does not compute.

lets oc it up

Yeah, I'd love to see that too. Unfortunately I don't think it'll happen since they used so much "real" music in it. I think the rights would be too expensive for a cancelled show.

I'd like to see a DVD of the show "Profit" that was on Fox. It starred Adrian Pasdar as some freakish enterpise capitalist. It was pretty good, and dark as well. I think it went 9 episodes.
