What's the Most OFFENSIVE Game in Videogaming History ?
Most of the 'notorious' games have usually been a let down to me
I remember Thrill Kill on the PS1. Now Manhunt
are there any videogames that you have played which you would honestly consider too offensive ?

If you want to take the nudity angle, then The Guy Game would be pretty offensive. For those who haven't heard of it, its a trivia style game that rewards you with video of (to steal a tv ad line) "..Spring Breakers bearing it all!!"

For major releases, it's hard for any game to beat the original Mortal Kombat. I remember the crowds of people that would gather around the arcade machine, the uproar by parents, and the "censorship" of the SNES version (a first, maybe?). However, Manhunt and Grand Theft Auto III are pretty close.

Oh, all you young'uns. Doom and MK??
If you want to go back to some real early controversy, you have to go with:
Death Race (Exidy) 1976
Loosely based on the movie Deathrace 2000, it's entire premise was granting points based on the number of pedestrians run over in order to turn them into tombstones. Taken off the market due to public reaction.

Custer's Revenge was the first thing that came to mind when I read the thread title and I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who thought of this.

from seanbaby:
In 1986, Exidy released a game to arcades called Chiller. You played the part of a gunman who broke into torture chambers and shot the body parts of the recently deceased. I'm not kidding, that's me getting 50 points for shooting the squatting dead chick in the ankle. And as nasty as it is, it didn't lead to one violent slaughter. Mostly because back in 1986, murder wouldn't have been invented for about 10 more years.

I used to play that game ALL the time at my local arcade. I totally forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me.
Oh, and my vote would to to Night Trap for Sega CD. The acting was some of the offensive material I have ever witnessed.
