Question about non-R1 DVDs

I am very familiar with R1 DVDs and their audio formats. But I dont own any non-R1 titles, and so was wondering about a couple of things.

1. There are 2 formats used primaraly with non-R1 DVDs right? PCM and MPEG? What channel configurations are available with these formats (like DTS has 5.1, 6.1, etc)? Does anyone know of a website that discusses these formats as related to non-R1 titles?

2. Dolby and DTS have pretty standard logos that are used on the back of DVD cases. Does PCM and MPEG have common logos for DVDs? If so, do you know of a website that would show them?

Thanks.

No matter what region you're buying, the audio is going to be the same format as with R1, Dolby or DTS.
