Audio Drops??

The last 2 dvds I have viewed, I have experiences where their were 2 drop outs.

On kill bill 2, making of documentary, thier has been noticable audio loss and on simpsons season 3, ep 2. there were a few also.

Are they they dvds or my equipment.

I am using Kenwood receiver and sony dvd player with an optical cable. I never had this problem before.

You'll need to isolate it further. Are the drop outs always in the same place? Can you try a different cable or player?

Does the receiver display say UNLOCK during the drop puts? If so, it is losing the digital bitstream. Check the cable.

Good point by checking the unlock. I think I have that feature on my receiver. That was the first thing I did last nite though is to make sure the cable was in secure. I havent had a chance to view it lately tho
