How is the new "The Lost Boys" SE...worth picking up?

I have been hemming and hawing whether to pick this up or not and wanted "viewers like me" opinions.

I have seen the movie like a dozen and one times on TBS (of course watered down), I mean I love it, but thinking might be a little played out. And not sure if worth it for seeing the Corey's "Where Are They Now" segment of the extras among others.

So does the new set bring the movie back to life (pun intended)? are the extras worth it and are the deleted scenes ones to write home about?

Thanks for comments.

Watched the movie 2 nights ago and was pleasantly surprised on how good the transfer looked. It was a much better transfer then the new Predator SE that was released the same week as well.
Sound was very good, which is important as this movie uses the music to help tell the story. All in all I was very happy with the purchase. Haven't seen the extras yet.

The film looks and sounds great and the extras are definitely worth watching, which is something that I rarely say. --

Thanks Mike. I read your review which is what enticed me, I was also looking for others comments to put me over the top. Doesn't seem that popular however.

I bought this and sat and watched all the extras. It took about 3 hours. Some of the documentaries are really good and informative, others are just fluff. By far the best extra is the approximately 15 minute feature that allows you to select areas of a map of the world and listen to narration about and see paintings of vampires and other night creatures from other parts of the world. I would recommend the disc highly.

Excellent Transfer, Great Sound, lots of extras, some of which are fluff, some are very good. Good commentary.
