DVD Talk review of 'Candyman: Special Edition'

I read Jason Bovberg's DVD review of Candyman: Special Edition at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=11804 and...

Spoiler:
Kasi Lemmons is NOT the student working on the Candyman thesis. She is the mother of the missisng baby, that Virginia Madsen is accused of killing.

Helen Lyel's fellow student (and friend) was played by Vanessa L. Williams (no...not the, Vanessa Williams).

Not only are you wrong, but you should use spoiler tags as well.

In fact, not only do you have those characters juxtaposed, you're wrong about your Vanessa Williams' as well.

Check IMDB.com.

Looking forward to this release but its too bad that they didn't spring for a full 5.1 surround.

I saw the movie when it first came out in the theater. I liked it then, and it still holds up fairly well. Not for the gore, but for the creepy moments of dread.

As the reviewer on this site stated, one of the most shocking things about this release is Clive Barker's voice. It is such a radical change that something had to have happened or he is doing that on purpose--does anyone know? Voices do not change that much on their own.
