Charade Criterion?

I have the first release, (had since it was first released) I received the re-release as a gift from my mother, should I keep the first release or sell it? Haven't watch the new one yet so I don't know the quality of it?

The picture is definitely sharper on the OOP version as well menus are better...if you really need to have anamorphic then go for new release..if not stick to OOP version.

Cheers

Stick to both. The OOP version looks shaper especially on a 4:3 TV set. However, you get more details through the anamorphic transfer on the newer version if you have a 16:9 set.

If picture quality is really what you value most, get "The Truth about Charlie" and flip it over. Reportedly the best anamorphic transfer of Charade available anywhere.

Thanks, I will hang on to both. I have both a 4:3 and a 16:9 TV, I will try to compare both as soon as I can.
