Golden TV moments!

I was just watching the 'Movies Kick Ass' intro from MTV 2002 Movie Awards!

Thats just the best 4 minutes 30 seconds of show ever!

'And peeeeeople haaaaviiing sex' (SMG bends over)...

And the 20 seconds singing of the word Ass, complete with american flag and all *LOL*

Same show had the awesome spiderman and LOTR spoofs.

Sorry just had to share my joy Do you have similar clips that you just think 'thats just perfect tv' ?

VH1's Rupaul show- the one where Rupaul interviewed Debbie Gibson and they brought out the next guest, the Mayflower Madam, and they all three sat on the couch and had a rather surreal conversation together.

The time Jessie Camp (MTV's Wanna Be a VJ winner) and Tori Amos spontaneously broke into a rendition of Aerosmith's "Dream On" on TRL.

And of course Drew Barrymore's flash on David Letterman.

TV just doesn't get better than that.

Sorry that is not a Golden TV moment. I was expecting to find something in here more along the lines of:

Bob Newhart waking up next to Suzanne Pleshette in the final raucous minutes of Newhart only to realize the whole series in Vermont was a dream.

Carol Burnett in the Gone with the Wind spoof where she comes walking down the staircase in the "curtain-rod dress" saying something like "I saw it in the window and just HAD to have it!"

Is what you mentioned even stored at The Museum of Television and Radio?

Back in the early 70's Dick Cavett had Groucho Marx and Truman Capote on his talk show. During a lull in conversation, Groucho said to Truman:"So tell me Truman, when are you going to get married?"

Heh. Mike Douglas use to ask the same question of Liberace on his show. Liberace, who may have been the gayest man in history, would mince and say that he hasn't "found the right girl yet".

Who is (SMG)? My best guess is Sarah Michelle Gellar.
What is it from?
