If you are/were a fan of the show, then yes. If not, you might get a laugh out of a few of the sketches, tho most of them are extremely dated (as in almost every show has something making fun of Milli Vanilli). The Venus DiMilo and Homey the Clown bits are the best bits in this season, along with Home Boy Shopping Network and Anton sketches.

I used to watch this show religiously back when it was on TV. I rented the first disc to see if it was worth buying and I didn't laugh once. It turned out to be one of those things that was best left as a fond memory.

It might be worth it if you're a fan of Carrey. That's about the only thing I find funny about this show anymore. I used to love it when it was on, but it's lost a lot since then.

I rented it from Netflix. I used to love the show, but after I've seen it back in the early '90s and after watching it on FX a while ago it got old fast.

Well I have to differ. I thought it was just as funny in watching it now as it was then. Then again I never caught the reruns on FX. However some of the topics of humor may be dated.

I rented it when it first came out, i never caught any of the reruns, so it was funny to see the old skits again. I didn't end up buying the set though, probably wouldn't really go back and re-watch it.

I bought it and enjoyed it a lot. There are more dance sequences than I remember though. I think the season two set will be better than the first one.

Season 1 seemed to be a very unfunny season. I bought it and after watching it all I realize all the good skits must of come after the first season.

I just ordered Season 2 and I'm hoping it'll be much better.

I'd rather just have a 'best of Jim Carrey' In Living Color DVD. Definitely don't want to sit through some of the crap that was too tied to that period.

I just think the problem is that season 1 wasn't that funny of a season.

I hemmed and hawed about whether or not to buy this. I loved the show and had watched many of the classic skits in this set on tape. While I laughed and found a few of them still funny, most of the others were FF material now. I found myself skipping lots of stuff and am glad that I only rented the set. It just hasn't held up for me at all.

I think it's worth a purchase. The first season especailly has some great stuff.
