Drew Barrymore in documentary on shopping malls?

I remember seeing a documentary on PBS about shopping malls in the US and why Americans love them. I think it was a British production. I swear that a very young (teen) Drew Barrymore was interviewed although none of the crew recognized her. She was with a friend and they laughed a lot and Drew talked about her limo and how she spends so much time in the mall. Can anyone confirm that this documentary exists? It had to be made around 1990.....I don't think I made this up.
