Complete Pluto: Vol 1 (huh? Why volume 1 if it's complete, I hope they don't double dip the Mickey eps he appears in and make it 2 volumes!)

Gosh, no major dvd sites have made this official announcement, but this looks VERY PROMISING. I had just heard rumors for this Xmas (they had always said that last years wave was simply delayed and that it would not affect the next wave). Release date listed on Amazon of December 7, 2004. Count me in.

Nice show Class! Way to be on the ball!

Only three releases, too bad. There had been hope of the True Life Adventures also being released. No interest in MMC here so the wallet thanks that at least

MMC would be so awesome if it were a complete season. But that won't happen and they're not downloadable since there were no VCRs at the time they were aired

Though I'll probably get it just to have all treasures.

Also, there is a "Best of Walt Disney's True-Life Adventures" DVD listed on amazon, but you can't pre-order or anything of the sort: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...247765-9684713

Also - a bit of bad news - as this wave completes all that was done when Roy Disney left. This project was his baby. This may be the last of the Treasures series (I really hope not, however).

I hope not!

I still want more Donald Duck!

A chip and dale collection would be nice as well.

I'll have to pick up the Pluto one. Nice to see that I won't be getting quite as many as the last wave.

Me, too. I want more Donald Duck, too.

I'll probably just pick up the Pluto DVD.

Since I'm collecting the animated Treasures, Mickey in B&W 2 and Pluto for me. The second volume of black-and-white Mickey Mouse shorts should be REALLY awesome.

Well, Walt Disney died five years before WDW opened, and what was built doesn't resemble his plans for the property at all. The only film he ever made about the project is the EPCOT feature on the Tomorrowland set. Anything else about WDW would be more appropriate for a "Ron Miller/Michael Eisner Treasures" set than this series.

If we don't get Donald vol2 someone is going to pay dearly. The cartoon I'm waiting for should be in that set so itbetter come out.

Donald wouldn't have come out this wave anyway. Vol. 1 just came out.

If there were a Wave 5, some of the titles likely are:

True Life Adventures
Donald Vol. 2
Another Collection (probably the educational one with Donald in Math Land)
The Complete Zorro
Mickey Vol. 3
Dr. Syd

Also, I'm no Disney expert, but I'm not sure there's enough Chip and Dale to cover 2 discs.

There won't be Mickey vol 3 because after this wave every single Mickey Mouse cartoon will have been out on DVD.

Possible wave 5

Donald vol 2
Silly Symphonies vol 2
True Live Adventures
The Complete Zorro

Actually that's not true. I meant B&W. I had read on UD.com that even with this volume there are still Mickey B&W left. I can't believe I forgot SS Vol. 2. There's one that could go to Vol. 3 (Donald apparently could have 4 vols!).

MM B&W Vol. 2 will cover the remaining 40 MM B&W shorts, nothing left after that...all MM color and b&ws covered.

When Silly Symphonies, Volume 2 comes out it will have the remaining shorts in the series. There won't be anything for a third volume.
