Simpsons Road Rage for GC - different versions???
I've been unloading some things on ebay, and I noticed that the Gamecube version of Simpsons Road Rage fetches anywhere from ten bucks to almost fifty(!). The higher priced versions say they are the "rare, original version".
Were two versions of this released, and how can I tell which one I have? Or is this simply someone conning people using the old "rare, OOP" claim when it really isn't?

It's strange, because Simpson's Road Rage seems to have gone "Platinum Hits" and "Greatest Hits" for X-Box and PS2 respectively, but is still going for full retail price on Gamecube?
Some people prefer not to have the "Greatest Hits" tags on their games (for some reason, god only knows why) hence the "OOP" or "RARE!!!1111one" claims on eBay, since you have a hard time finding Greatest Hits games without the tag, once they start pressing them that way.
I assumed Road Rage was a "Players Choice" title, but for some reason it doesn't seem to be. Why are the Nintendo games always dragging their heels when it comes to price drops? It irritates me... because I'd rather buy the GC version, but end up buying the PS2 version instead because I don't want to pay $10-15 extra. Grrrr
That kind of turned into a rant, didn't it.
Anyway, I think it's just another eBay con.

The game was never re-released for cube, hence the price. Sometimes when not many copies are made for a certain system (Buffy Chaos Bleeds), that version is worth more than other console versions.
