Estimates for Friday are in and the sequel to "Bourne Identity"makes a whopping $19 mil on track to beat "I, Robot" last weekend's total of $52 mil. Not bad for Mr. Damon.
On a sad note, the much beloved and ballyhooed "Catwoman", winning praises all over the world for the acting feats of Ms. Halle Berry and visionary direction of Pitof didn't fare quite so well. Poor little feline.
(All Fridat Estimates)
1 THE BOURNE SUPREMACY
$19,000,000
2 I, ROBOT
$6,871,000
3 CATWOMAN
$6,250,000
4 SPIDER-MAN 2
$4,424,000
5 A CINDERELLA STORY
$2,736,000

I know you're being sarcastic, but actually Halle Berry is about the only thing getting any praise, at all, out of the movie.
Pitof just sounds like a french word for self-pleasure.
Kickass numbers for Bourne though, I'm really hoping the 3rd (and final) movie in the series gets made, and hopefully Liman will be back to helm (I really like Supremacy but damn that shaky cam!)

Liman won't be back..... He wants to come back, but the studio and producers REALLY did not get along with him on the first film.

Actually I'd say Catwoman did pretty decently on Friday. We'll see how it ends up for the weekend.

Looks to be a 15-18 million weekend for the little kitty. Baw ha ha ha, oh man, that's funny stuff. I'm glad TBS is kicking it's ass.
Ha! Even I, robot did better on the day. That's some funny stuff.

This was my only complaint with the movie. The camera during the fight scene was way to erratic. I know it helps to cover up some of the shortcomings of showing a real fight, but damn. I've seen better wedding videos.

Considering how bad the buzz was, Catwoman didn't do THAT badly. It's nothing to write home about, but still, it could've done Gigli numbers.

Why do you think the Catwoman suit looks like some S&M suit? Its the only way the studio could guarantee people would pay to see it.

$53.5m for the weekend, it actually went up on Saturday instead of the typical frontloading problem of hyped up sequels.
Cool :) heh
Catwoman made an impressive $17,155,000 (considering)...
...and despite I, Robot being down about 58%, it still made more than that.

The moviegoing public should be shot for letting Catwoman gross 17 mil. Oh well. We can always pray for a huge 2nd week drop.

17 million is nothing to brag about. Sure it wasn't a complete bomb opening weekend, but it sure isn't something Halle will be proud of.

Most of the haters wouldn't have been satisfied unless Catwoman made $12 last weekend. The movie looks godawful, but I figured it would make SOME money...

What's worse, jerking off to this thread or sitting in the corner and watching people jerk off?
