yes, i think we are being prepared for the hollywood remake, coming soon to a theater near us starring Sarah Michelle Gellar. The only thing worth noting is the fact that it's also directed by Takashi Shimizu, the original JU-ON director.

yea I know that a remake is coming, but this is a great oppurtunity for people in those areas and who like the movie to check out the original on the big screen.

Anyone see Rotten Tomatoes. Ju-On is rotten. Most critics seem to be complaining that it's repetitious and not scary.

I thought it was a pretty good creepy movie, but incoherent. I truly hope that the remake will not be exactly like the original (judging by the trailers it looks pretty much the same).
