Best Buy VG Pre-Order Question

Has anyone pre-ordered any games at Best Buy using their pre-order program in store? How does it work?

I've seen those cards in store that you take up to the register to "reserve" your copy, but do you keep those with your receipt and then bring it back to the store for your game? How long do you have to pick-up the game after release?

I ask because I originally had pre-ordered the Halo 2 Limited set from Gamestop, but I'm thinking about pre-ordering it at BB now since I can get some extra Reward Zone points from BB. I saw that they were advertising it I think either in their current ad or their last weekly ad.

If I do that, can I get my deposit back from Gamestop? I'm even willing to take the deposit and put it toward something else in the store so I'm not asking for my cash back. Mind you I only put $5 down there at Gamestop, so we're not talking big bucks invested.

Thanks in advance.

Yep you get that cool card and they will staple the receipt to the card and you keep it and reutrn it to the item returns with you pick up your game. I also canned my pre-order at gamestop to move it to BB. Just go into gamestop and say I want to can my pre-order.
