[Sunday Morning]

I have compiled a list of Teen themed HORROR films released between 1980-1989.

I am asking those who care about this particular sub-genre, or at least some of the films in them, to express which titles they would like on dvd.
Also please suggest any titles I may have missed. Only 80's teen horror films only, please!


The list is broken into different categories.
They are:

1. Titles that are/were released on dvd in region 1.
2. Titles that are coming soon to dvd (that have been officially announced) or are in the works.
4. Titles that are not on dvd.

As much of a horror fan as I am, I've never been much for slashers. For me, Halloween did that perfectly, and nothing else has touched it since.

From your unreleased list, the only titles I would miss are Night of the Creeps, Night of the Comet (terrible, but fun) and American Gothic.

they are out on R1 DVD in the US. from brentwood, except for DORM, which is under PRANKS on JEF DVD

I liked it. Of course I was only 11 when it came out, but what do you expect at that age?! :-)

One that you missed on the already released list is Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

I think that qualifies, doesn't it? Kind of on the edge of "teen" I guess... depending on how strict your criteria is.

I know I might get flack for this, but I don't consider these unauthorized vhs ports to be released.
Most of the time the VHS is much better looking.
Brentwood is a very unreputable company who just doesn't care and in my opinion are bootlegers.

The JEF films release of pranks is awful looking. The vhs looks better.

Stay away from these if you can!

We are currently working on obtaining materials for JUST BEFORE DAWN. The negative has, unfortunately, disappeared, but we are on the trail. Once we find the negs I'll have more news.
