G.I. Joe - Season 2, Part 1

www.dvdaf.com has the listing for G.I. Joe - Season 2, Part 1. It looks like Rhino will be splitting the 30 episode season into two fifteen episode parts. I have not seen any more confirmations or news on this release, but I would hope the price would be reduced since there might be less episodes per set.

The SRP is $10 less than the Season 1 sets, but they could have put all 30 episodes in one set. I think this is just another plot to make people spend more money.

I was hoping they would have released the entire season.

I also read a thread on I think a Transformers board about Rhino having to renew the license with Sunbow to keep releasing Sunbow's catalogue. I hope that doesn't screw up the remaining episodes of the series.

That wouldn't be fitting with previous releases. There have been 5-6 episodes per disc and a max of 4 discs. Wouldn't work.
