Smilies: Reloaded
So I just upgraded Mozilla Firefox to version 0.9 and noticed that a few animated gifs bebop around at about 3 times the speed than they do in 0.8 and Internet Explorer. I discovered that since some people create animated gifs and apparently don't set the frame speeds, Internet Explorer, IrfanView, and others "throttle" any frames that are faster than a certain speed to one much slower.
Anyway, Firefox stopped supporting that bug in this release, and so I fixed a couple of the affected smilies so that they were the same in both Internet Explorer and newer Mozilla releases. Here they are:

I also took the opportunity to correct the banana so that he danced forever instead of stopped after 999 times (on long threads I've noticed that the banana will stop after awhile while the other smilies will tirelessly laugh, blush, and vomit).

Geoff, if you could update these, that would be great. Thanks!

As I'm occasionally prone to do, I overstepped my boundaries and updated the graphics. If I get booted off DVD Talk, it's all your fault.

I deleted the graphics off the server and downloaded the ones BWG posted. Either the images BWG posted aren't working or you're viewing cached graphics. I'm 99% I didn't make any mistakes when copying the graphics to DVD Talk.

There were versions of the colrface and mao graphics in two different directories. I assumed the ones being displayed on the site were in the /smiles directory, same as the banana graphic. It turns out that the versions of those two smilies on the site are in the /smilies directory, so replacing the versions under /smiles had no effect whatsoever. Let me know if they work now. Although Breakfast, the banana graphic should've been working before, and if it wasn't when you posted, then I'm not sure what else to try.

Works now! Thanks, Adam.
The banana graphic worked before, but instead of being set to repeat infinitely, it was set to loop only 999 times. Meaning that the graphic would be cached and then if you browsed DVD Talk long enough, the graphic would stop looping after awhile (at least, in Firefox).
