Cubs and Cardinals kick off their last series at Busch this season - too bad it is in July. Even if one of the teams is struggling coming into a matchup (as the Cubs are right now), they always manage to play some great baseball.

The last time the Sox played the Rangers, they got swept. I hope they can return the favor, but the pitching matchups dont look too favorable.

From the matchup today I'm predicting lots of runs. Should be fun :)

Hell ya...nothing better than watching a Cards/Cubs series on a summer weekend. Wish I could go....just have to settle for the couch and a 6.

As a Mets fan, I don't know who to root for in the ATL-Philly series. Obviously, Philly is in the lead, and 3 wins by them plus a loss or two by the Mets would increase the Phillies' lead. But my heart still beats with utter hatred for the Braves. If there is a hell, that "Tomahawk Chop" Organ music with nobody cheering in the background must be on continuous loop.

Which did you vote for?

Q: What will be McCourt's biggest cost-cutting move this season?

-Foul balls will be retrieved by ushers
-Home run balls will be retrieved by players
-Relief pitchers will double as groundscrew
-Lights will be turned off between innings
-Urinal troughs will flush only after excessive pee accumulation

I am in the same dilemma as you, but for different reasons.

The Braves just scare me because of their good coaching and the way that they come back every year to kick everyone's asses.

The Phillies are in 1st place and have more talent than the braves overall.

For some reason, the Braves scare me more than the Phillies, so I hope that the Phillies win 2 of the 3... I guess.
