INTERIM GM EUGENE
July 5, 2004
Throughout its incredible 10-plus-year history, Monday Night RAW has featured some of the most unpredictable moments in sports-entertainment history. But this Monday night's show -- live from Winnipeg, Manitoba -- may just be the most unpredictable, the most outlandish, that we've ever seen.
General Manager Eric Bischoff is taking a vacation this Monday night, and he announced that he's handing over control on a one-week interim basis to his nephew, Eugene! That means Eugene will be calling the shots on RAW!
With just six days to go before Vengeance, absolutely anything -- and we really mean that -- could happen this Monday night on RAW.
And don't forget that Winnipeg is the place where Chris Jericho grew up. What will Y2J -- who will face Batista at Vengeance -- have in store for his hometown fans (and for Batista) this Monday night?
Watch Monday Night RAW at 9/8 CT on Spike TV to find out.

I was a little disappointed. After the hilarious musical chairs to open RAW, we didn't really get much more from Eugene as GM. No William Regal playing hopscotch? A wasted opportunity!
All of the matches meant something. Rhyno is apparently on a quest to win the tag titles from Le Resistance. I just wish he was given a mike so we could hear it from him and not J.R.
I hope Orton goes over a year as IC champion, just to shut up The Honky Tonk Man.
The main event was pretty good. Eugene's confusion is perfect. This character could've really been a bomb.

Is it just me or does Trish have a different voice each week? Its like she is trying out a cute voice, a bitchy voice etc etc and failing miserably at each one.
Thank god for boobs!

Who is Trish's rival anyways? That #1 contender match for the women was f'n stupid. Like you'd actually work a program with Nidia? At least have Victoria win it so that it would make sense with the screw job.
Lita/Kane/Matt is way past getting old.

I don't know. Hell, I don't even know why they gave the belt to Trish. Molly, Gail or Victoria needs to win the belt back, soon.
Hmm, I was expecting a bit more from Raw last night....so this is the card so far for Vengeance:
Benoit vs. HHH
Orton vs. Edge
Jericho vs. Batista
Eugene/Flair vs. La Resistance
Kane vs. Matt Hardy
5 matches?! I suppose they'll throw together a women's title match on Sunday and something else to give them 7 matches.

I guess it'll only take 2 disks to download. ;)

She's not even showing yet! You've got a long road to WMXXI ahead of you to enjoy this triangle.

Kane sucks.
Edge sucks.
Lita is a man.
PPV, just an excuse for $2 Shiner Bocks.

I have a serious question to the creative department... And from reading this I think I'm in the majority.
Why the hell are you giving all the lines to Trish, Kane, Lita & Matt???? At least have the respect for your fans to send them to acting school. That really should be manditory for characters in major storylines.
Just my opinion though...

Musical chairs was the best part of the show. As for Y2J, what is up with that? He wants to become World Champ and he is is facing Batista at the PPV? Here is another guy along with the majority of Raw staff with no direction in their storylines.
