Why is this thread sticky?

I'm genuinely confused as to why <a href="http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=369758">this thread</a> is a sticky. Is there a reason it's more "sticky-worthy" than the 421 other "Michael Moore" threads out there? Seems more than a little political to have a "Michael Moore Hates America" title as the first thread you see on the page.

Can someone explain it to me? Or am I just a wacko conspiracy theorist?

I think it was locked on accident because Geoff did not know it was an upcoming movie at first - It's prob a sticky so people who were complaining about it being deleted can now view and post once again. I'm guessing it won't be a sticky much longer, just long enough so people know it has returned.
