Miami hasn't?
Last year they played Florida, Florida State, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh... that's a tough schedule right there.

You're right. Recently Miami's schedule has improved. But in years previous, the Big East was pretty pathetic.

That's saying something coming from twikoff. -wink-
Although, the ACC made big strides the last two years even without Miami.

I've been a VT schedule hater for years now.
I'm just glad they got the nutsac up to play someone right off the bat. Although I'm afraid they bit off more than they could chew. If history serves the past 4 seasons the first loss of each season started the snowball. Sorry Josh but this could be an O'fer ;)

But they played LSU right off the bat just a couple of years ago...

Actually, that year we played Arkansas State first, then beat the crap out of LSU. VT has been cursed with a light beginning schedule. Usually, the first 5 games are against nobodies, and when we start playing the good people, we either kick the shit out of them, of get tossed.
This year it is a lot more spread out. I hope that will keep the team from finding their patern. There were a lot of mistakes last season that can't be made again.
