Joe Schmo 2 - 6/28
First off, I didn't realize that they were showing this at 11:05 pm on Mondays now, but evidently they are (along with Tuesdays at 10:00 pm). Has it always been on Mondays?
Anyway, great episode. The whole
And for those who are dying for spoilers, the person eliminated is
Any thoughts on the whole

LB: Gotta put "11:05" in quotes as RAW always goes past 11:05. This is the first week of them showing a new episode. The previous Monday they showed a replay of the premiere. (The orginial, Joe Schmo had replays on Mondays, late in their run.)This switch now makes me miss an episode of Joe Schmo 2 since I had planned on watching the second episode last night after RAW. (If I knew this ahead of time, I would have tape one of the replays this past weekend.)
Although if SpikeTV keeps this schedule, its good news for me since I always watch RAW (or tape it if I'm working) so I'll just leave the TV on (or set the tape longer) to catch the new episode of Joe Schmo 2. New episodes on Tuesdays were a pain with me especially if I'm working as my VCR's are busy taping other stuff like "Last Action Star"/"Last Comic Standing", "NYPD Blue 24/7", "ESPN Top 25", "ESPN: The Headlines", "MLL Lacrosse" etc.

Yeah, they really ****ed everyone by not showing the replay like they should.
Ingrid continues to give me teh hot. I love how she picks up on everything. The little captions under her name during the final sequences were pretty funny:
Wonders if something's fake ... thinks half of the show is real ... thinks less than 50% of the show is real ... barely believes any of this ... we're screwed.

Spoiler:
the cheesy romantic interludes...
Joe Schmo's birthday party antics...
This episode was an effective hook.
Cammy is played as "the moron" but I'm not sure how much acting is involved there.

They gotta dump her. They can't be walking on pins and needles for the entire show - that defeats the whole point of the show. The way they ended this episode
The problem this time around is that the actors just aren't very good. They screw up huge several times a day - we never saw those kinds of big screw-ups in the first one.
Why don't they just let the actors keep their own first names? Wouldn't that be just SO much easier? If you're name is Sally, be named Sally on the show. If you're Bob, you're Bob. It'd really eliminate one of the biggest dangers.

We also missed the end of this. Guess it didn't matter that much.
Looking forward to seeing what happens, but I also think she should go.

I like this show this season, but it just isn't the same without Hutch and Kip. Those guys were hilarious.
I don't even know any of their names this season.

Wait? This was a new episode? Shit, they should have said something. I saw it on my TiVo with generic guide data and deleted it. Oh well, tonight's will tape as well.
SpikeTV, you be run by Morans.

This blows...I'll have to remember this next week so I don't have to pick and choose between this and Nip/Tuck on which to watch (Nip/Tuck would probably win hands down though).

My idea was that they should 'turn' her and let her know that it is a scam, then keep her in the house anyway to keep up the scam on Tim. It would be interesting to see how well she could adapt and play her part.

Considering the producers KNEW Ingrid was not believing this show, they totally screwed themselves with the Cammy/fake porno speech. Why would they do this? They KNOW she's having a hard time believing everything. What would've been smarter would've been to have Cammy tell someone else and that person tells another, etc and then it just becomes a huge swirling rumor. And then, maybe after a few days, have the producers or executive come and threaten to kick her off the show. Hopefully by then Ingrid is believing things more.

Damn you for reminding me about the Albright thing. I had forgotten about that. The first time it aired I actually flipped to it during a commercial, so I didn't know the whole setup and I actually thought that was a joke gift too.
I've had problems with the believability of this show because I think it's too hard to do this as a dating show. With a show like the original you could basically act anyway you want as long as you had some strategy for staying in the house. OTOH for a dating show, you have to make yourself appeal to the bachelor/ette and I don't think it works to have these characters act so wacky. Either way I've been loving it and cracking up.

Heck half the time last season they tried to act like they were on pins and needles when there was never any real threat. They'd show a clip from next from next week and be like "will the show be able to continure?!?!?!" and dude never had a clue. I just cant see them giving her the ax cuz this is really what they want.

i like during the eviction when theyre real dramatic and cut away to different people including the frog and hawk. the point that made me crack up was when they just cut away to different angles of cammy.

The whole box and sack thing was great. I loved how TJ fed Piper his nuts.

I was thinking that myself. But I was also thinking that what if she IS one of the actors and the other actors don't even know, just as a special treat to con everyone who watches too.

Tim: Doesn't know anything
Ingrid: Knows everything
The rest of the cast: Still thinks Tim AND Ingrid don't fully know

I'll still watch if Ingrid goes because Tim has already bought into the game hook, line and sinker.
This season may not have Hutch and Kip, but Gerald and Brice are pretty damn_close.
If there is one actor that hasn't really been up to par, it's TJ. he's supposed to be the player but he only seems to turn it on during the reward challenges.
