Summer of Roswell


For those that wondered, update your Tivos and VCR's Roswell is back on Scifi and not in the daily rotation. Scifi is running Season 1 in order and near the end of season 1, there will be an ALL Day Marathon of some Season 3 episodes. This is great for the ones who bought the DVD Set Blind and want to see how it originally airred or see how much music was taken out or watch season 2 episodes before the season 2 set comes out (Roswell - Season 2 will be out in region 2 on August 10th, region one is still unknown; I inserted little notes to help those new fans)

That sucks since now the Incredible Hulk is off the air because of Roswell.

I loved the early eps of this show when it first aired. I was gonna pick up the dvd's but decided not to because I was worried that it would be the only season to get released. Once I know for sure that they'll release them all then I'll probably pick them up. For now, I'll check out the Sci-Fi reruns. But that's gonna suck too if they don't show season 2. I don't wanna get involved in the story again if I can't see it all.

Here are the special features for the region 2 season 2 set:
The second season of Fox's cult teen drama Roswell will be released on August the 9th in the UK.
(NO word yet of the US release. But I suspect it may be back to it's original release date of August 10th)

The set will feature a thirty-minute making of... documentary called Here With Me

and four other featurettes:

A Little Something Extra For The Fans=
A clips montage showing how some the relationships between the key characters developed.(5 minutes)

The Art of Composing Roswell=
An interview with musician Joe Williams (four minutes)

The Shiri and Majandra Show=
An on-the-sofa chat with actresses Shiri Appleby and Majandra Delfino (10 minutes)

Storyboard featurette=
The Storyboard feature compares storyboards with the finished shots for the episode Wipe Out! (1 minute)

Three episodes will feature commentary tracks=

1.Ask Not (by Executive Producer Ron Moore),

2.A Roswell Christmas Carol (by Executive Producer / writer Jason Katims and Director Patrick Norris)

3. Cry Your Name (by Ron Moore).

The episodes will be presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen, with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio.

The set also includes a DVD trailer for the season one set.


This Season 2 set will be released in region 2 on Aug 10th and the US will get season 2 in the 4th quarter. It could be exactly everything you see here or something completely different or more stuff added on...only time will tell...
