I know the poll only lists a few. Please name some others.

Under the Boardwalk - Bruce Willis was better than respect yourself, although a remake.

Assuming that this poll is a joke I voted for Eddy Murphy's Party All The Time because it may be the worst song ever put on record.

I totally agree, Milla is amazing. But is she considered an actor turned singer? Or would she be a model turned singer turned actor or singer turned model turned singer. etc etc.

IIRC she was singing for a long time (maybe not professionally though)

Definitely model turned singer turned actor. And the girl needs to sing more. Great voice!

Her album, The Divine Comedy, came out in 1994. She had parts in Return to the Blue Lagoon, Kuffs, Two Moon Junction, Chaplin and Dazed and Confused before that. It counts in my book.

I like his rendition of Under the Boardwalk too. Respect Yourself was also a remake, though.

Don't forget David Soul "Don't Give Up On Us".

(OK, I've actually forgotten it, but it was apparently a number one hit, so it must be good right?)

I was going to mention Milla Jovovich's album, The Divine Comedy, as an example where an actress actually does have some talent as a singer / songwriter. The album won't set the world afire, but it sits easily next to my Heather Nova & Tori Amos albums.
