antenna help needed.

so i am moving this weekend and trying to get the tv situation settled. i have a toshiba 65hdx82 tv and am looking at getting HD set up. i know that i need an antenna to receive OTA signals for the networks but does it have to be a specific one? the directv guy was recommending me one that was $350 but i am thinking that is was overkill.

$350 definitely sounds like overkill. Basically you just need something to receive strong UHF signals.

Try this: http://www.antennaweb.org

I am using the Winegard 9065 on this page

I have been very happy with it. It also appears that since last year there are more choices.

Definitely check antenna web and do some searching on the net. Also might want to search here
