I voted for Goodfellas.
I would place them:
1) Goodfellas
2) Fight Club
3) Requiem for a Dream

Fight Club is the best of the three, imo. And it's the only one that I own of the three.

Goodfellas is good - I'm just not that into gangster-related flicks.

Requiem for a Dream - I still don't get all of the fuss around her for this flick.

yeah yeah. So...are you an apple man or an orange man or a kumquat man? If you know, then pick.

Requiem for a Dream was awful, but it spawned a hilarious Simpsons parody.

Requiem for a Dream is ludicrously dreadful.

Goodfellas is near-great but overrated.

I chose Fight Club.

I love all 3 movies.

Fight Club being my favorite.

What's with all the RfaD hate? It was an entertaining lil drug flick.

Same with me, although I would rate RfaD a distant third. It's not even close to the other two. It's like ranking the three ice cream flavors, chocolate, vanilla, and rhubarb.

I loathed Requiem for a number of reasons:

1. flesh eating bacteria
2. disturbingly large dildos
3. stupid people

1. Goodfellas - Great movie
2. Fight Club - Good movie, not sure why it gets so much love around here
3. Requiem for a Dream - Didn't care too much for this one

Didn't this poll have Pulp Fiction as an option before?

I would put stupid people first, especially the stupidest life form in the universe Ellen Burstyn character.

Goodfellas is a classic.

Fight Club is a good movie that fell apart in the second half and is grossly overrated.

Requiem for a Dream is a decent flick.

1. Goodfellas
2. Fight Club
3. Requiem For A Dream

I will agree that Fight Club is a solid movie, and I enjoy it every time I see it. But it is a bit overrated.

1. Goodfellas
2. Fight Club
3. Requiem For A Dream

Goodfellas is a classic and one of my favorite movies. Fight Club is also a great movie, but not as good as Goodfellas. Requiem For A Dream, as disturbing and depressing as it was, is still a good movie.

Now there's really no reason for me to post what I think. I agree completely.

I agree that Requiem wasn't as strong as I thought it would be. Pick up the new Trainspotting SE - it's far superior.

Oh, and I voted for Fight Club, although Goodfellas is just as good, I think.

I'll be the odd one out -

I voted for Goodfellas because it's pretty obvious that it is the best film of the three. Now I am baffled to why so many people chose Fight Club over Goodfellas.

And over Requiem for a Dream as well. I can see how some people wouldn't understand it - just as Blue Velvet has it's retractors. ( Ebert ) The fact that some of you are using shallow arguments to explain why you believe Requiem to be
awful and dreadful (Just as Ebert did back in the 80's for BV)

I'd put them:

Goodfellas
Requiem for a Dream
Fight Club

1. Goodfellas - great flick. More about tight friendships than mobster whackings.

2. Fight Club. I agree with the poster above, great 1st half ending wasn't so hot.

3. Requiem for a Dream- shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath. This movie stole a piece of my soul and I can't get it back
