Neither of these say Kelly, Ruben, or Clay to me. I wasn't a Clay fan but it was obvious he was talented. These 2 while modestly talented don't have the personality to make me want to watch this.

Two things interesting about tonight.

1) This season ends with two performers who have appeared in the bottom 3 somewhat often. Diana has been in the bottom three on 3 occasions, Fantasia has been in the bottom three (or two) twice. Neither Kelly nor Clay had been in the bottom three (to my knowledge), and Justin and Ruben each appeared there only once. Diana and Fantasia never appeared in the bottom three the same week.

2) Diana and Fantasia were the first two performers voted through to the top 12.

What a win/win situation for the country.

Fantasia wins - you get to deal with her diva-wannabe attitude for at least a year

Diana wins - you get to deal with the cries of racism being prevalent

Is it possible for these two to be any more annoying?

My ears are bleeding from Fantasia's rendition of "All My Life". Seriously.

I completely agree with this. it's a shame that the better performer of the 2 will have to lose because of this. I can't wait until Fantasia wins and most of the US starts cutting off their ears so they don't have to hear that horrible noise she calls singing.

I wasn't impressed with Fantasia's first performance but I still prefer any of her other performances over Diana's.

How many times has she sang "Summertime" now? I swear she's turning into a one trick pony.

And what was with her 'bouning' through her first song? Was she possessed by George Huff?

Someone should tell Paula to just shut up, and give her spot to Vitamin C.

I grew up in Snellville, and I can't believe ([singing] I can't believe ... I can't believe ... I CAN'T BELIEEEEVE) people voted for this painful out-of-tune nonsense. Those idiots parading through the streets and buying billboard space across town should be ashamed of themselves.

And who's the idiot that thought "All My Life" would be a good finale song?

If this crap doesn't kill the show, we have no hope. These performances would recieve glowing praise from Vitamin C, Ton Loc, and Briggs.

This is actually Fantasia's 3rd performance of Summertime, but only her 2nd on an actual competition night.

Diana sang her previous song on Disco night too.

Song #3: Was that Diana or a cat in heat?

Is it just me or is Simon trying to swing the vote again?

Tough choice between the one trick pony and the pile of manure. What's worse is that she abandoned the beautifully subtle performance that made it great the first time around and oversang it to death.

Best performance in the history of all Idols, eh? Yeah. And humans might fly out of my butt.

Well, this won't win me fans here, but I don't think I have too many anyway.

So everyone's harping on Fantasia for singing Summertime again, but at least she only recycled one song. Diana's only new performance was the Tamyra Gray crapfest she sang first. Where's the Diana hate for repeating 2 songs?

Next up, Fantasia has been gracious when receiving criticism, responding with a simple thank you and smiling. Diana on the other hand, sounded desperate during every critique, practically begging the judges to reconsider their opinion. This backtalk is supposedly the reason why many hate Fantasia (even though I can't remember her doing it in almost two months). Will those that had a problem with her attitude turn against Diana now?

I am going to go with Diane here. I am not a big fan of either of them, but I find her less annoying, and I think that she will get the sympathy vote. I think that Fantasia will alienate a lot of people with her attitude and personality (and she already has).

Why does Fantasia get a choir?

I think that it is clear that Simon wants Fantasia to win, but there is no way that I would call her the best singer of all the competitions. For females, I would rate Kelly Clarkson, Tamyra Grey, Jennifer Hudson, and Latoya London ahead of her.

Why is she crying? Stop it! You make me sick!

It amazes me how Diana has so much power, yet she's always out of breath. What's up with that?

No love for Kim Clark from last season? I'd rate her above both Hudson and London. She was somebody who actually imprved week to week.
