Check this out -- there's a hidden picture in Puss in Boots' eyes that can be revealed with a simple graphics program:

I don't know about the "alien toy figure" or the "license plate number" but I think the Remax logo is pretty clear.
As for the meaning behind it, I would think that the "animator's nickname" theory is the most likely.

Can we say it's BULL SHIT!
I enhanced the original image myself. There are no hidden images. Somebody not only has too much time on their hands, but they have way too much time on their hands to embed their own images into the original and pass it off as if Dreamworks is responsible.

Dreamworks is gonna have to step up to the plate if they really want us to start taking this stuff seriously that they are supposedly putting in their movies.
I still see it better in the link provided at the start, more so than on Booths image. Perhaps the guy who found it managed to enhance that just a tad more? If it's really there, it's still amazing how much time people do have on their hands.
Wait a minute...this is coming from somebody at a message board discussing it and looking for it himself? Guess I have too much time on my hands as well!

I actually enhanced the image myself and discovered it actually says "NO MEX", which considering Dreamworks finacial support of Prop. 187 and Republicans in general makes alot of sense.
